Summary: Vickery's Inn Guesthouse was established in the early 1800s by a Thomas Vickery and continues to be run by members of the Vickery family. Originally a Coaching Inn records show that by 1855 Vickery's Hotel, as it was then called, was an establishment of twenty-five bedrooms which required a stud of 75-100 horses for maintenance of its coaching service.
